Robert Assaf
Managing Director,
Translator / Interpreter
Robert Assaf is bi-national (FR/US) and bi-lingual. He holds degrees in philosophy (Cornell, New York), semiotics and art history (Université de Paris). From 1981 to 1991 he was a Maître de Conférences of American Language and Civilization at France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration where he was also a member of the translation unit.
This unit provided translation for Prime Minister’s office as well as ministries, state organs and agencies (ADEME, Caisses des Dépôts, Conseil Constitutionnel, …) and nationalized companies (Conseil Constitutionnel, Régie Renault, Saint Gobain, Usinor…)..
When ENA was ‘de-centralized’ to Strasbourg Robert and a group of ENA professors and alumni created Corporate Editions to ensure continuity of translation services to the same French entities, while making their services available to a wider clientele.
Justin Scherer
Senior Translator / Interpreter
into English
Justin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and European Studies from the American University of Paris and a Master’s Degree in Social and Economic Sciences from l’Institut Catholique de Paris. Justin has been with Corporate Editions for over ten yearswhere he translates—and interprets—for entities ranging from ENA and Banque de France to Valmont and the Palace of Versailles.
He has also published a number of articles on the American political system in the French press, and on the subject of translation.
Drew Kiser
Translator into English
Drew Kiser is completing his PhD in English at the University of California, Berkeley. His thesis subject is ‘homonationalism in contemporary literature’. He completed a Fulbright grant at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa, and also taught at the Lycee Francois 1er in Le Havre, France. He earned honors for his degrees in English and French from the University of Virginia.
Drew was to have joined the Paris office of Corporate Editions but events in 2020 had him stay stateside. He is the author of numerous journalistic pieces and his translation portfolio with us includes work for luxury brands, Paris La Defense and the Palace of Versailles.
Catherine Cox
Translator into German and English
Catherine is a dual national (FR/CAN) tri-lingual (German) legal translator and intrpreter. She holds degrees from the Université de Grenoble II and ISIT.
Catherine translates legal and financial documents regularly for Corporate Editions. She also interprets for the European Commission (Brussels), the International Commision of Jurists (Geneva) , Amnesty International, and numerous financial institutions.
Bob Desiatnik
Translation/ Legal interpretation in English
Bob is a graduate of France’s ENA (Promotion Léon Gambetta) and holds a Masters in literature from the University of Sydney. As a senior official in the Federal Court of Australia he was responsible for various legal missions (negotiating treaties, drafting or translating reports, interpreting at ministerial conferences, etc.). Bob translates legal documents (contracts, court decisions, commercial leases, extradition orders, etc.) and interprets in courts and at international legal conference.
Stefanie Fay
Translation into German
Stefanie Fay holds law degrees from the University Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz and from the University of Paris. She also earned a Masters in Translations from the University of Strasbourg. With Corporate Editions Stefanie specializes in translation and proof-reading of legal, technical and IT projects.
Donatella Marcuz-Gallien
Translation into Italian
Bi-national and bi-lingual, Donatella holds degrees in translation and interpreting from the University of Padova and ESIT in Paris. She has been working steadily with Corporate Editions since our inception over 30 years ago. Her wide-ranging scope of expertise includes legal, industrial, agricultural subjects as well as…of course…fashion.
Yennys Tamayo
Office Manager
Yennys is binational (Cuban/French) and tri-lingual (English). She joined Corporate Editions directly after completing her Master’s degree internship in 2014 and has been with us ever since.
Yennys manages our clients’ daily requests (from orders to execution to delivery). She seamlessly supervises complex projects, sometimes involving dozens of languages and as many as 20 participants…and always with a smile.
Abigail Glickman
Translator into English / Assistant Project Manager
Abigail Glickman is a recent graduate of Princeton University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and certificates from the Programs in Near Eastern Studies and Translation and Intercultural Communication. Her senior thesis explored the relationship between text and textile in Cairo Geniza manuscripts and scholarship.
Throughout her time as an undergraduate, she was a research assistant in the Princeton Geniza Lab and the publisher of the Nassau Weekly, an independent student-run magazine. She has previously worked for the Los Angeles Hospitality Training Academy and in the Electoral Processes Unit at International IDEA in Stockholm. After interning with Corporate Editions in Summer 2023, Abigail returned to the Paris office in Fall 2024 as a translator and assistant project manager.
Stephen Atkinson
Translator
Stephen Atkinson is a graduate of Duke University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and History. As a normalien of the International Selection at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Comparative Literature, specializing in fin-de-siècle literature and philosophy in both French and English.
After interning at Corporate Editions in Fall 2021 during an exchange semester, Stephen returned to the office in 2025 following his move to Paris. Along the way, his professional experience included roles in books marketing, strategic communications and music touring.
